The Green Mountain Center for Sustainability at Prescott College (GMC) was conceived in 2019 after the closing of Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. A rich legacy of environmental sustainability and social justice lives at the GMC and is promoted through sustainability practices, education, research, and community engagement. Since 2019, the Center has facilitated projects, workshops, and initiatives that foster a deeper understanding of climate disruption, and it has become a hub for advancing sustainability solutions on campus and beyond.
